Rapping to your favorite songs is a workout in itself. Rap while Working out is a sure-fire way to stay pumped, but you might not have a choice with this playlist of old-school classics and recent hits.
Hip-hop is my favorite genre to work out in because it invigorates me to go that last mile, ride that hill, and give my all to a cardio dance session. And that’s exactly how this playlist was designed. Whether it’s a HIIT routine or a powerlifting session, these songs will keep you going until the very end.
If you listen to these songs in the order I’ve put them in, you’ll get a range of back-to-back upbeat tunes to get your heart rate up, followed by one or two quieter songs to give you a few moments of rest before the time resumes. That said, in the spirit of the genre, you should feel free to remix however you see fit.
Along with new releases, like Lizzo’s « Tempo » and Wale’s « Poke It Out, » I’ve included some of my favorite classics from the 90s and early 2000s, like « I Got the Power » and « Boom Boom Pow » by the Black Eyed Peas. Browse the playlist on Spotify below or keep scrolling to see the full list of tracks. Let’s go!
