Dyeing your hair on time is practically a beauty ritual for some people, mainly women.
Changing your look or hiding gray hair are two of the most common reasons.
In the market there are several brands and types of hair dyes that help those concerned with this task.
However, like any chemical-based product, these tinctures sold in supermarkets and specialty stores tend to adversely affect people’s hair health.
Industrial dyes contain several compounds that can be harmful to the scalp and hair roots, such as acetates, hydrogen peroxide, and lead.
Stronger colored hair dyes, like black and red, need to be touched up more often, which ends up increasing the contact of the dyes with the skin of the head and as a result, wear and tear on the hair can be noticed.
However, you don’t have to do without this nice touch-up.
In this article, we bring you a solution to this problem in the form of an all-natural hair dye recipe.
Learn how to make this tincture, which only requires three ingredients.
Natural hair dye recipe
In addition to giving your hair a beautiful shade of red, this natural dye promotes nutrition for your scalp.
In addition to giving color to the strands, the elements of this recipe contain nutrients such as vitamin C and omega 3 in its composition.
As a result, the scalp and hair bulbs are healthy and strong.
1 whole beet
125 g of flax seeds
500ml of water
1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
Grate the beet and cut it into small strips, separating everything in a separate container.
Then put the water in another container and add the flax seeds.
Now add the grated beetroot to the water with the flax seeds and bring everything to the boil.
Let the mixture heat up to a boil and, meanwhile, stir everything with a spoon.
When the mixture boils, turn off the heat and let it cool.
Once the recipe has cooled, pass everything through a sieve to remove the large pieces of beetroot and flax seeds.
Note that a reddish liquid can already be noticed.
Finally, the mixture being already filtered and placed in a container, add the olive oil and stir well.
There you go, your natural hair dye is ready.
Now just leave it in the fridge for three hours to refine it and then apply it.
Wash your hair well, then dry it.
Then it is enough to apply the dye to the hair using a brush, for example.
The dye should stay in the hair for at least 24 hours.
