How To Descale The Rest room Flush Simply (With White Vinegar).

I show you here how to descale the toilet easily.

We think of descaling the bowl but never the water tank…

Yet it is often full of tartar and black spots.

Fortunately, there is a quick and easy trick to cleaning the toilet flush naturally.

It was my plumber who explained to me how to remove limescale from the flush.

The best toilet flush descaling tip is to use white vinegar. Look :

What you need

– white vinegar (up to 8 liters depending on the state of the tank)

pair of gloves for cleaning

scrub brush

– sponge

– organic multi-purpose cleaner

How to do

1. First of all, put on the rubber gloves.

2. Remove the lid from the tank and put it on the ground.

3. Pour white vinegar into the water in the tank to fill it to the maximum.

4. Leave on overnight for lime and mold deposits to dissolve.

5. The next day, flush the toilet to remove all the vinegar water.

6. Close the water inlet tap.

7. Empty the entire tank by flushing the toilet again.

8. Scrub the walls of the tank with the brush to remove all scale residue.

9. Spray a little multi-purpose product in the tank and let it act for 10 minutes.

10. Rub with the sponge so that the earthenware is perfectly clean. Don’t forget the float.

11. Turn the water back on and flush the toilet to rinse.

12. Replace the tank cover.

And There you go ! Your toilet flush is now perfectly descaled 🙂

Easy, fast and effective, right?

And it costs next to nothing!

In any case, much less than calling a plumber because the flush is leaking due to limestone crusts.

Want to know the best?

This trick is suitable for all toilets, even those with a septic tank.

Whether they are from Grohe, Geberit or Siamp.

If the tank is heavily scaled, pour pure vinegar into the empty tank and leave to act overnight.

My advice ? Remember to clean the inside of the toilet every two months.

Why does it work?

White vinegar is the best natural limescale remover.

Not only does it attack even very encrusted limestone. But in addition, it disinfects the tank.

Because the bacteria settle on the tartar plates and proliferate there.

You now understand why it is necessary to clean the bowl + the tank to have impeccable toilets!

Vinegar has two more benefits: it removes rust and deodorizes.

The multi-purpose product cleans walls naturally without the need for bleach or hydrochloric acid.

How to clean the flush of a wall hung toilet?

Just like conventional toilets, the cistern of a wall-hung toilet must also be descaled.

The problem is that this mechanism is particularly difficult to achieve.

Remove the plate that triggers the flush and with a screwdriver, pop off the frame that supports the plate.

Turn off the water with a pipe wrench and dismantle the hose, the shut-off valve and the float.

Now that you have access to the tank, the method is the same as the one I explained to you above.

Your turn…
