Results

And There you go ! Thanks to the baking soda, you have emptied your stomach of gases 🙂

Easy, fast and effective, right?

Just drink this little remedy after a good meal to deflate.

You can also use it when eating foods that tend to cause gas.

This is particularly the case with white beans, for example.

When should you drink this anti-bloating remedy?

The important thing is to take this remedy at the right time.

It’s a matter of timing.

If you take bicarbonate water during digestion, it reduces the secretion of gastric juices thus reducing acidity in the stomach. But, on the other hand, it can make you want to burp…which can be annoying. If this is your case, add a few drops of lemon to your home remedy.

If you take it after digestion, this remedy dissolves the mucus and deflates the stomach. But, it is more quickly absorbed into the blood. And it is not recommended for people on a salt-free diet.

Why does it work?

Bicarbonate is a salty product, called alkaline.

It neutralizes the acidity in the stomach responsible for bloating.

It reduces the « bloated belly » effect when eating certain foods.

Prefer food-grade bicarbonate which is finer and dilutes more quickly.

And against flatulence?

When we are bloated, we often tend to have some unpleasant flatulence to evacuate this air.

Well, there is good news.

Which ?

Simply that this remedy is also effective against flatulence.

Precautions to take

Bicarbonate should be taken occasionally.

Why ? Because it aggravates high blood pressure because of the salinity of the product.

It is therefore not recommended for those who pay attention to their daily salt intake.

Why am I bloated?

Bloating can have several causes:

– Eating too quickly. This is one of the most common reasons. The faster you eat (or drink), the more air you swallow and the more your stomach swells.

– Drink soft drinks.

– To chew gum.

– Being under too much stress

– Eat certain foods that ferment in the stomach.

– Make meals that are too big or too greasy

– Taking antibiotic treatments which can cause the stomach to swell.

– Drink through a straw.
