Selma Blair opened up about her decades-long friendship with Sarah Michelle Gellar in a new SELF video about the advice she would give to her younger self. « I think I knew from the first moment I met Sarah Michelle Gellar that we would be friends forever, and she made it happen, » Blair said. « If you have Sarah Michelle Gellar as your best friend, you really don’t need a lot of other friends. »

Gellar also helped Blair cross the stage at the People’s Choice Awards last month, where she accepted the contestant of 2022 award for her performance on the 31st season of Dancing with the starsaccording to People. In her acceptance speech, Blair joked about the kiss she shared with Gellar in cruel intentions and thanked her for her support, saying: « Oh my God, the last time I won an award was when I kissed you, Sarah.
